PLINE

• Creates a polyline.
• Use various options to create a polyline or draw an object whose type is a polyline.

• Option keywords for specifying the polyline start point

• Follow or ENTER: Specifies the last point as the polyline’s start point
• Specify the start point on screen with the mouse

• Option keywords for specifying the polyline’s next point

— After the start point has been specified

• Arc: Creates an arc whose object type is a polyline.
• Distance: Creates a polyline by entering a length and angle.
• Follow: Creates a polyline at the same angle as the previously drawn polyline.
• Halfwidth: Sets half of the starting width and half of the ending width of the polyline to be drawn.
• Width: Sets the starting width and ending width of the polyline to be drawn.

— After the second point has been specified

• Undo: Cancels the current polyline creation step and returns to the previous one.

— After the third point has been specified

• Close: Creates a closed polyline.

• Option keywords for drawing an arc whose object type is a polyline

• Angle: Draws the arc by entering the included angle for the segment.
• Center: Draws the arc by specifying its center point on screen with the mouse.
• Close: Creates an arc ending at the polyline’s start point, closing the polyline and ending the command.
• Direction: Draws the arc by specifying the direction from the start point on screen with the mouse.
• Halfwidth: Sets half of the arc’s line width.
• Line: Switches to the line-drawing option.
• Radius: Sets the radius of the arc.
• Secondpt: Draws the arc by specifying the second point it will pass through on screen with the mouse.
• Width: Sets the line width of the arc.
• Undo: Cancels the current creation step and returns to the previous one.

1) Run the “PLINE” command.
2) Specify the polyline’s start point and next point.
3) Press the ENTER or ESC key to create the polyline and end the command.

1) Run the “PLINE” command.
2) Specify the start point of the polyline.
3) Enter the Arc keyword.
4) If you need to set additional arc properties, select the keyword and enter a value.
5) Specify the end of the arc to create it.
6) Press the ENTER or ESC key to end the command.
