UCS
- Creates, manages, or switches to a user-defined coordinate system.

1. Setting the User Coordinate System Demo Video
Section titled “1. Setting the User Coordinate System Demo Video”1) Type “UCS” in the Command Input Window.
2) Select the required option to set a new coordinate system.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| 3point | Specifies the new origin and the X-axis and Y-axis directions with three points to set the UCS. |
| Delete | Deletes a saved UCS. |
| Entity | Automatically sets the UCS to match the orientation of a specific object (line, face, etc.). |
| Origin | Moves the origin (0,0,0) of the UCS to a new location. |
| Previous | Reverts to the previously used UCS. |
| Restore | Loads a UCS saved under a name. |
| Save | Saves the current UCS under a name. |
| View | Sets the UCS based on the current view direction. |
| X / Y / Z | Rotates the UCS around the selected axis (X, Y, or Z). |
| World | Returns to the default World Coordinate System (WCS). |
3) Press the ENTER key to change the UCS based on the selected reference.
Note: The modified UCS becomes the reference for subsequent operations such as drawing, copying, and rotating.
